Detail Itinerary for 5 Days 4 Nights Mekong Delta - Phu Quoc Island Tour
- Mekong Delta 2 Days Tour (My Tho-Ben Tre-Can Tho) | Mekong Delta Vietnam - Enjoy the experience of local river life, tradition and culture, and have the opportunity to see the biggest floating market in Can Tho. This two days tour will be the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. - Phu Quoc beach that is more beautiful than those in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Here you can swim in a crystal-clear water, do some kayaking, or simply enjoy the sea breeze in a hammock.
Highlights:
- Island tour (Unicorn, Turtle Islands).
- Tropical fruits garden + bee farm + coconut candy workshop and small cannal.
- The biggest Cai Rang floating market.
- Motor and rowing boats.
- Phu Quoc Island - Snorkeling and relaxing on the quite beach.
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (LUNCH/DINNER)
- 08.00am, start 5 Days 4 Nights Mekong Delta - Phu Quoc Island Tour, travel by private car to My Tho – 9:30am, board a private wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water). One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments.
- Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
- After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees.
- As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 2: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - PHU QUOC (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
- After breakfast at hotel, boarding a motor boat for a long distance trip to discover the area's largest marketplace...on water! (the biggest Cai Rang floating market).
- Then our guide and driver will transfer you to the airport and flight to Phu Quoc VN0498 at 12.55pm. You arrive in Duong Dong airport in Phu Quoc, car/van picks you up from airport and transfer to hotel/resort. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
DAY 3: COASTING EXPERIENCES IN SOUTHERN PHU QUOC (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
- 7:30 - 8:00am: Free complimentary Breakfast at the resort’s restaurant.
- 8:30am: checking out some secrets of a pearl farm.
- 11:00 am: boarding a wooden motor boat Enjoy the busy activities of an ocean-front seafood marketplace and the fantastic scene of hundreds of colorful fishing boats cluttering the area. After 1 hr being out sea, boat anchors in a quiet, fish-laden bay for your fun fishing activities... Lunch served with special local dishes. Bring your swimsuit to check out sea urchin colonies.
- 2:00-4:00pm: arriving a beach that is more beautiful than those in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Here you can swim in a crystal-clear water, do some kayakin, or simply enjoy the sea breeze in a hammock.
- 4:00-5:00pm: Visiting the biggest fishing port and village in Phu Quoc. Taste fried seahorse, eat some fresh crabs… inside a busy local marketplace.
- 6:00pm: back at the resort. Free activities afterward. Yes, we have a list of great local restaurants and places to keep you busy.
DAY 4: PHU QUOC - NATURAL FOREST IN THE NORTH (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
- Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the North to discover the premitive forest then visit the black peppers plantation at Khu Tuong, sightseeing at Phu Quoc national park. Enjoy swimming at the Dai beach.
- Have a lunch. Return to your hotel.
- Free at leisure in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel.
DAY 5: PHU QUOC - SAI GON (BREAKFAST)
- Breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to airport for boarding to Ho chi minh city on flight VN 480(14.30pm or similar to). Finish 5 Days 4 Nights Mekong Delta - Phu Quoc Island Tour
