Code VF192: 6 Days Vietnam Northern Tour

DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI – LAO CAI (No meal)

• Arrival Ha Noi, welcome to our driver at Domestic airport. He will pick you up from there and transfer to the Old quarter in Hanoi (95 Hang Chieu st, Hoan Kiem Dist).
   
• Evening: At 21:50 pm, our driver will pick you up at 95 Hang Chieu st, Hoan Kiem Dist. Transfer to railway station in Hanoi where you will catch the night train to Lao Cai. You sleep on train.

Included: Train ticket Ha Noi – Lao Cai with air con soft sleeper (4 berths), pick up airport in Hanoi & transfer to train station.

DAY 2: LAO CAI STATION - SA PA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5-7:30 AM. There you will meet the bus guide and transfer to Sapa town. After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H'mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat.
• 
  After the walk (2-3 km), you will be back to the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11AM- 2PM) in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own.
   
• Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 PM. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

DAY 3: SA PA - LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE - HA NOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 6:30-9 AM. After breakfast you will check out and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. At around 9 AM you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia. 
   
• After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life. At around 2PM you will be transferred back to the hotel by bus where you can take a shower, eat dinner in the hotel and then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

DAY 4: ARRIVAL HANOI - HANOI - CITY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• Arrive in Hanoi at 4: 00 – 6:30 am. Take taxi by yourself to 95 Hang Chieu st, Hoan Kiem Dist to receive room for sleeping some hours. Then have breakfast and depart for Hanoi City Tour.
   
• 8.00 – 8:30 am pick up at hotel to Ha Noi City Tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda; founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of  Hanoi. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Have lunch.
   
• PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple. For the end of the tour journey visit along the Hanoi Old Quarter. Free for shopping.

DAY 5: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY - CAT BA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• 08.00- 08.15: Pick up at your hotel and depart for Ha Long city.

• 11.45 – 12.00: At Halong city, You will board your Cruise, check into your cabin and enjoy first class lunch while you are cruising through thousand amazing islands and islet passing by Stone Dog Islet, Floating fishing Village, Incense Burner, Fighting Cocks, Duck and Finger Islets...

    With Standard, Superior Types:

• 14.45: Visit Surprising Cave (the most beautiful one in Halong Bay).
• 15.45 – 18.15: Enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming (weather permitted).
• 18.30: Board back the Cruise, take shower and relax on upper deck bar.
• 19.00 – 20.30: Enjoy a specially prepared seafood buffet in a romantic atmosphere.
• 21.00: Evening activities – enjoy movie night, board games, and squid fishing or relax at leisure. Stay overnight on junk.

    With Deluxe Types:

• 15:45: Visit Surprising Cave (the most beautiful one in Halong Bay)
• 16:45 – 18:00: Enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming and joining some competitions for prize and fun, on white sandy beach (weather permitted).
• 18:00 – 18:45: Board back the Cruise, take shower and have a Massage for free in a clean and quiet on upper deck with soft, light music before dinner time.
• 19:00 – 20:30: Enjoy a specially prepared dinner in a romantic atmosphere.
• 21:00: Evening activities – enjoy movie night, board games, Karaoke singing and squid fishing or relax at leisure. Stay overnight on junk.

DAY 6: HA LONG BAY – HANOI – DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

   With Standard , Superior Types:

• 07.15: Have breakfast. Continue the cruise through Halong Bay.
• 09.30: Check-out the cabin.
• 11:15: Have lunch.
• 12.00: Sail back Halong pier and take a van back to Hanoi.

    With Deluxe Type:

• 07:45: Have better breakfast than Superior & Deluxe Types.
• 08:30: Start cruising to visit Van Gia floating village and passing by Halong Pearl Farm.
• 09:30- 10:00: Keep cruising to visit Halong bay. Enjoy the cooking course after you pack your things and leave the cabin.
• 11:30 – 12:00: Sail back Ha Long pier, have a lunch and take a bus back to Hanoi.
