DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI

• Arrive in Hanoi. Welcome to English-speaking guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Included: Car/Van pick-up from airport and transfer to hotel, English speaking tour guide.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 8.00 AM: Pick up at Hotel for departure city tour. Visit by coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter.
   
• We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple. Then visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place.
   
• Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Have a lunch.
   
• PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam's first university constructed in 1070, it"s gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI - HA LONG - CAT BA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• 8.00 am Picks you up at your hotel and leave for Halong.
   
• 11.45 am - 12.00 pm: At Halong City, you will board your Luxury Imperial Cruise, check into your cabin and enjoy first class lunch while you are cruising through thousand amazing islands and islet passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Cocks islet,…
   
• PM: 14:45 Enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming and relaxing on white sandy beach (weather permitted).

• 15:45 Visit Surprising Cave (the most beautiful one in Halong Bay).

• 18:30 Board back the cruise, take shower and relax on upper deck bar.

• 19:00 – 20:30 Enjoy a specially prepared barbecue dinner (set menu or buffet) in romantic atmosphere.

• 21:00 Evening activities – enjoy movie night, board games, squid fishing or relax at leisure.

DAY 4: HA LONG BAY FOR SLIGHT SEAS OR CATBA ISLAND FOR GLASSY SEAS (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

OPTION 1: Halong Bay – Catba Island For glassy seas (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

• 08.30: Depart to Catba National Park by small boat after breakfast.

• 10.00: Arrive at Viet Hai Jetty and take bicycle trip through untouched forests and wildlife, discover the typical Viet Hai village, scenery and the daily life of the locals.

• 12.30: Return to local day boat, enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch and then continue the cruise through Halong Bay.

• 14.00: After arriving at Lan Ha Lagoon and you have great opportunity for exploring the untouched areas, relaxing on the beach, kayaking, swimming.

• 16.30: Check in the hotel on Catba Island or Deluxe Bungalow on Nam Cat Island – free time.

OPTION 2: Ha Long Bay For slight seas (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner).

• 07.30: Breakfast time.

• 08:15: Transfer to small boat, cruise to Light & Dark caves where you will have amazing time for discovering untouched area by kayak (weather permitted) and then discover the fishing villages.

• 12.30: Return to the day boat and then enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch. Continue cruising through Ha Long Bay, visting Pearl farm and kayaking & swimming.

• 16.30: Return to Cruiser – Relax at leisure.

DAY 5: HA LONG - CAT BA - HA NOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 07.15: Cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served. Continue the cruise through Ha Long Bay.

• 09.30: Check-out the cabin.

• 11:15: Have lunch.

• 12.00: Sail back Halong pier and take a van back to Ha Noi. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAY 6: HA NOI - SAPA (BREAKFAST)

• 19.30pm (with standard & Superior types) or 20.45pm (with Deluxe type): pick up at the hotel. Transfer to railway station in Hanoi where you will catch the night train to Lao Cai/( Soft sleeper/4 berth). Overnight on train.

Included: Breakfast at hotel, transfer to train, train ticket with air con soft sleeper (Standard type/2*: Green Train or Pumkin or Royal or Friendly - Superior type/3*: Livitrans or King or Tulico - Deluxe type/4*: Victoria).

DAY 7: LAO CAI STATION - SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 5-7:30 AM. There you will meet the bus guide and transfer to Sapa town.
   
• After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H'mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat.
   
• After the walk, you will be back to the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11AM-2PM) in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own.
   
• Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 PM. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

DAY 8: SAPA - BAC HA MARKET OR LAO CHAI - TA VANG VILLAGE - HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

Especially Bac Ha Minority Market which only open on Sunday morning. If your plan is not Sunday, so we will change Bac Ha Market tour into Lao Chai - Ta Van tour for you. Thank you!!

• Bac Ha is the meeting place of many different ethnic tribes who come to share their culture as well as sell their wares, food, and livestock. At the market, you will have the opportunity to experience all of the different tribes' food and unique clothing.
   
• At lunch you can taste local dishes and try the wines made from rice, corn, and fruit. Upon leaving you will see the H'mong king's house that was built by the French and Chinese in the 1920s.
   
• You will leave the market in the afternoon for a return to train station for the night train to Lao Cai.
   
• You will have dinner at restaurant near train station.

OR LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE TOUR (Breakfast/lunch/dinner)

• Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 6:30-9 AM.
   
• After breakfast you will check out and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. At around 9 AM you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia.
   
• After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life.
   
• At around 2PM you will be transferred back to the hotel where you can take a shower, eat dinner in the hotel and then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi.

DAY 9: ARRIVAL HANOI - DEPARTURE

• You will arrive in Hanoi between 4-6:30 AM at the Tran Quy Cap train station. End tour and see you again.
