Code VF177: 5 Days - 4 Nights Vietnam Discovery Tour

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SAIGON - HO CHI MINH CITY/SAIGON TOUR (LUNCH)

• Our driver will pick you up from airport and transfer you to hotel.
   
• Afternoon at 12.30pm - We pik you up from hotel and take you to restaurant for lunch.
   
• 13.15pm - 13.30pm: Visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
   
• This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC. We have guide who speaks your language to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
   
• General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).
   
• City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture). Finish Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City Tour at 04.30 pm.

DAY 2: MEKONG DELTA TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 07.45am - 08.00am our guide and driver pick you up from hotel to travel by bus to My Tho – 9:30 AM, board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port,stilt houses. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. 
   
• Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.

• After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. As your journey ends, you will return Saigon by tourist bus (two ways bus).

DAY 3: HALF DAY CU CHI TUNNELS TOUR (BREAKFAST)

• 08.30am - 09.00am our guide picks you up from hotel and transfer to Cu Chi Tunnels. Excursion Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.
   
• Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 02.30pm - 03.00pm.

DAY 4: SAIGON - MUI NE (BREAKFAST)

• 8.00am tourist bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Muine. It takes 5 hours.
   
• When you get there, you are free time on the beach. Stay overnight in Muine.

Included: Bus ticket Saigon – Muine, accommodation.

DAY 5: SUNSIRE MUI NE TOUR - DEPARTURE/SAI GON (BREAKFAST)

• 04.30am  – Jeep/car and English tour guide pick you up from your resort/hotel to visit Muine Beach. You will be fulfilled by the beautiful white sand dune. It is more romantic time for seeing the sunrise, slip on the sand.
   
• Moreover, in the middle of the white sand dune there is Lotus Lake – lotus is one of the famous flowers in Viet Nam. Not only visiting white sand dune, customers will have a chance to visit Yellow sand dune. From the top of the Yellow one, you can see all of the scenery of Mui ne when you can discover the daily activities of the fishing farm. Then we will stop at the Fairy Stream where you can not miss in Mui Ne because of the really nice place.
   
• After that, we will transfer you to resort around 10.00am.
   
• 1.15pm - 1.30pm air con tourist bus will pick you up from hotel/resort and transfer to Ho Chi Minh City. Finish trip there.
