DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI (NO MEAL)

  • Arrive in Hanoi, car picks you, then transfer to hotel.

DAY 2: HANOI TO HALONG BAY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/ DINNER)

  • 07:45 - 08:30: Tour guide and shuttle bus of Ha Long Dragon Cruise pick you up then take 3.5 hour scenic drive to Ha Long city. Have a break 20 minutes en-route to free your legs.
  • 12:15: Embark Bai Chay harbor, get transferred to Dragon Cruise by a tender and enjoy a welcome drink.
  • 13:00: Receive a cruise briefing. Savor delicious lunch while cruising among wonderful limestone island.
  • 14:30: Stop at Ti Top Island one hour for swimming, sun-bathing or getting a panoramic view on island peak.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

  • 07:00: Start your new day with complimentary tea and coffee served, photograph magnificent pictures.
  • 07:30: Have breakfast on board; get your cameras ready then go off boat.
  • 08:00: Visit Sung Sot “amazing” cave, the most beautiful with millions of surprising stalactites and stalagmites.
  • 09:30: Check out your cabin. Relax on sundeck for sun-bathing, photo hunting while sailing back to the harbor.
  • 11:30: Leave Dragon Cruise, have a short rest and take a bus drive to a local restaurant for lunch.
  • 13:30: Say goodbye to Ha Long bay then return to Hanoi. Have a rest en-route again to free your legs.
  • 17:30: Our tour guide will drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 4: HANOI CITY TOUR – TRAIN TO SAPA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

  • 07:45 - 8:30 Get picked up by our tour guide and bus at your hotel. After short drive, start visiting first place named Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
  • 09:00 Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father, walking along Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived and worked from 1958 to 1969.
  • 10:00 Visit One pillar pagoda – the one modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi city.
  • 11:00 Visit the colorful features of the 54 ethnic groups of Viet Nam in the Ethnology museum.
  • 13:00 Bus takes you to a local restaurant in Hanoi Old Quarter, have a rest and enjoy the lunch.
  • 14:00 Visit Temples of Literature, the most famous temple situated in Hanoi, also functioned as Vietnam's first university. It was first constructed in 1070 under King Ly Nhan Tong and dedicated to Confucius, sages and scholars. A vast structure that has existed to present day.
  • 15:30 Drive to legendary Hoan Kiem Lake, visit Ngoc Son Temple dedicated to Van Xuong saint and former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians. You also see the beautiful Vietnamese and French architecture around the lake.
  • 16:00 Arrive back to your hotel.
  • At 19:30 – 20.00: pick you up at hotel. Transfer to railway station where you will catch the night train to Lao Cai. You sleep on train.

1. On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday: Visit the Ethnology Museum instead of Bat Trang Pottery Village.

DAY 5: ARRIVAL ON SAPA – SOFT TOUR IN SAPA (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

  • You will arrive at the Lao Cai Station between 05:00 - 07:30. There you will meet our guide and transfer to Sapa town.
  • After having breakfast and a shower, you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the Black H'mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat.
  • After the walk (2-3 km), you will be back to the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11:00 – 14:00) in the hotel restaurant.
  • For the rest of the afternoon, you will be free to explore Sapa town on your own.
  • Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4-8 PM. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

DAY 6: SAPA – LAO CHAI TA VAN TOUR – HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

  • Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 06:30 - 09:00. After breakfast you will check out and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your trek. At around 09:00 you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia.
  • After having lunch along the Muong Hoa River in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life.
  • At around 14:00 you will be transferred back to the hotel by bus where you can take a shower, eat dinner in the hotel and then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi.
  • Overnight on train.

  • Arrive in Saigon, car transfer to hotel.
  • Night time: Have a dinner on cruise.

  • Car transfer to the Tan Son Nhat airport and flight to Phu Quoc.
  • You arrive in Duong Dong airport in Phu Quoc, car picks you up from airport and transfer to resort.
  • Afternoon: Guide will take you to restaurant for lunch. Visiting Su Muon Pagoda, Tranh stream, trekking and swimming (from May to Nov only), Then visit the biggest fishing port and village in Phu Quoc. Taste fried seahorse; eat some fresh crabs… inside a busy local marketplace.
  • Coming back Duong Dong Town and stopping at a Sim wine distillery.
  • Have dinner at local restaurant. Back at resort.
  • Overnight in Phu Quoc.

  • 08.30: Checking out some secrets of a pearl farm. Enjoy the busy activities of an ocean-front seafood marketplace and the fantastic scene of hundreds of colorful fishing boats cluttering the area.
  • Boarding a wooden motor boat to the small Islets for snorkeling and fishing. Lunch served with local dishes on board. Bring your swimsuit to check out sea urchin colonies.
  • Arriving a beach that is more beautiful than those in Hawaii and the Caribbean. Here you can swim in crystal-clear water, do some kayaking, or simply enjoy the sea breeze in a hammock.
  • Back to Duong Dong town; stop at one traditional fish sauce processing house which contributes to making and maintaining Phu Quoc fish sauce branch name.
  • Experience activities of local people at Duong Dong market.
  • Dinh Cau temple – the spirit Savior of the fisherman. Enjoy sunset on the ocean.

DAY 12: SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNEL TOUR (BREAKFAST)

  • 08.30, transport will pick you up at hotel for Cu Chi Tunnels tour, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.
  • Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. After finish trip drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 12: ONE DAY MEKONG DELTA TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

  • At 08.00, travel by bus to My Tho – 09:30, board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port, stilt houses. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. 
  • Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
  • After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Sai Gon.
  • Arrive in Saigon around 17.30 – 18.00. Overnight in Saigon.

  • 08.30 - 09.00 we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
  • Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important pagodas in the city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires).
  • China town (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city's daily business). Then we have a lunch at restaurant.
  • Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
  • This address today still holds many important functions in Ho Chi Minh City. We have guide who speaks your language (English speaking tour guide) to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
  • General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).
  • City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture).
  • Finish Saigon city tour at 04.30. Transfer back your hotel.
