Detail Itinerary for Ha Noi - Ha Long - Cat Ba National Park - Lan Ha Bay 3-Day 2-Night
Three Days HaLong Bay – Cat Ba National Park - Hotel - One of the natural wonders of the world and an UNESCO world heritage site. Ha Long bay is a truly remarkable destination. Over 3000 islands protrude from the sea with red sailed junks dotting the horizon. Come and see what the Vietnamese call “the descending dragon”.

Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Long ( Lunch/Dinner)
7:45-8:30am: Our guide picks you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old quarter. Enjoy the interesting 3.5 hour drive to Ha Long by coach with air con, have a short break at Hai Duong city for 20 minutes on the half way.
12:30pm: Arrival on Tuan Chau wharf. You get on the cruise and enjoy the most beautiful place of the bay with the famous islets such as Cock Fighting, Dog, Dinh Huong islets …while enjoying fresh seafood lunch on cruise.
14:00: You visit Thien Cung Cave (heaven grotto).
16:00 -16:30: You move to Gia Luan harbour, you will take the coach to Cat Ba Town, Check in hotel. Have dinner at hotel.
After dinner, free time to discover Cat Ba Town by night.
Day 2: Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay ( Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Option 1: Cat Ba National Park and Monkey Island in Lan Ha Bay
7:15am: Have a breakfast at hotel.
8:00am: Guide picks you up from hotel and 30 minutes by coach to Cat Ba National park for a short trekking. You visit sight seeing here within 1 and half hour.
10:30am: You be back hotel and take a break.
12:00pm: Have a lunch at restaurant.
14:00: Our guide and coach take you to boat station (10 mins transfer). Then boat moves to Lan Ha Bay for visiting monkey island. Here you can try to do kayaking (excluded fee) and swimming on beach. After that back to hotel.
18:00: Have a dinner at hotel and free time for exploring Cat Ba town by yourself.
Option 2: Lan Ha Bay – Heritage stilt houses – Ba Ham lake or Dark & Light caves
7:00am: Have a breakfast at hotel.
7:30am: Pick you up from hotel and transfer to Beo boat station.
8:00am: Get on boat. Passing Cai Beo fishing village - the largest, most traditional fishing village in the North of Vietnam and non-stop Monkey Island. Then boat reaches the heart of Lan Ha Bay where has thousands of unique shaped karst towels and emerald water.
9:30am: Stop at heritage stilt houses to visit a fisherman family and their fish farm to see the local’s life, take photos of the huge fish (it’s about 13 years old and around 80 kg), which called "lucky fish". Afterward, the boat continues to the magnificent landscapes before parking at Dau Be Island. Then, discovering the bay on your own way with double-sharing kayak at Ba Ham Lake in Ha Long Bay, you will explore the beauty of the nature in hidden lagoon with lots of stalactites hang down from the ceiling cave which creates strange shapes and sizes.
This option depends on the tide level of the bay.If the tide is too high, we would change BA HAM LAKE into DARK – LIGHT CAVES
Discover Dark and Light caves are doing kayaking and swimming through the tunnel.
The Dark cave is the long and very dark, so you need a torch to pass this cave.
The Light cave is short and you can see from side to side clearly.
Tourists can visit Light cave easier because it doesn't depend on the tide while the other can be swallowed by the tide and difficult to go inside.
With other clients can not do kayaking, you can walk to Caves.
12:30pm: Lunch with seafood and Vietnamese traditional food will be served on boat. After lunch, our captain will choose the best area to anchor. You will have time to relax then take part in interesting activities as jumping off from the boat, swimming in Ba Trai Dao Beach (Called Three peaches beach).
3:30pm: Start cruising back to the harbor
4:00pm: Drop you off at the hotel.
6:30pm: Have a dinner and stay overnight in Cat Ba
Day 3: Cat Ba – Hai Phong - Ha Noi (Breakfast- Lunch)
7:30am: Have a breakfast at hotel. Free time for discovering Cat Ba island.
11:00am: We have lunch at hotel & check-out procedure.
12:00pm: Coach and guide pick you up at your hotel and transfer to express boat in Hai Phong (45mins). Get on speed-boat and move to Ben Ghac wharf (10-15 mins).
1:15 – 1:30pm: Then you take coach to Hanoi.
4:00 – 5:00pm: Arrive in Ha Noi, drop off at your hotel.
