Detail Itinerary for Ho Chi Minh Travel Package Recommendation 7 Days 6 Nights

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ON SAI GON – DA LAT

• Arrive in Saigon, car will pick you up at international airport transfer to bus station.

• Get a sleeping bus to Da Lat, arrive in Da Lat check in hotel.

• Overnight in Da Lat.

Included: Airport transfer, sleeping bus Saigon – Dalat and accommodation in Da Lat.

DAY 2: DA LAT CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• Breakfast at hotel.

• At 8.30am our tour guide will pick you up from hotel to take Dalat City Tour 1 Day.  

• This morning, we will visit Truc Lam Zen Meditation Center, Tuyen Lam Lake – so beautiful landscapes, Natural Datanla waterfalls and Dragon Pagoda – colorful decorated temple.

• We have a lunch at the restaurant.

• This afternoon, we will visit the old railway station, Valley of Love – Romantic view and cowboy, XQ Hand Embroidery Picture Gallery and Bao Dai’s summer Palace.

• 16.30pm our guide transfers you to hotel and finish Dalat City Tour 1 Day.

Included: Transport in tour, English speaking guide in tour, entrance fees, breakfast at hotel, lunch, 01 water bottle and accommodation in Da Lat.

DAY 3: DA LAT – MUI NE (BREAKFAST)

• Morning, bus pick you up at hotel transfer to Mui Ne.

• Arrive in Mui Ne, check in hotel.

• Afternoon, at 14.00pm start  Mui Ne Sunset Sand Dune Half Day Tour – Jeep and English tour guide pick you up from your resort/hotel in Muine to visit the Fairy Stream where you can not miss in Mui Ne because of the really nice place.

• Then you will have a chance to visit Yellow sand dune. From the top of the Yellow one, you can see all of the scenery of Mui ne when you can discover the daily activities of the fishing farm.

• Not only visiting white sand dune, you will be fulfilled by the beautiful white sand dune. It is more romantic time for seeing the sunset, slip on the sand. Moreover, in the middle of the white san dune there is Lotus Lake – lotus is one of the famous flowers in Viet Nam.

• After that, we will transfer you to resort around 06.00pm.

• Overnight in Mui Ne.

DAY 4: MUI NE – SAI GON (BREAKFAST)

• Free time in the morning.

• 13.00pm, bus transfer back Saigon. It takes around 4-5 hours.

• Arrive in Saigon, takes taxi by yourself to hotel.

Included: Open bus Mui Ne - Saigon, breakfast at hotel/resort and accommodation in Saigon.

DAY 5: ONE DAY CAO DAI TEMPLE & CU CHI TUNNELS (BREAKFAST/LUNCH) Morning Tour is Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh.

• 08.45am - 09.00am you will start from Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh - a province 95 kms South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is like a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.

• Cao Dai Temple is the eclectic mix of colours and the amazing use of architecture create a space of beauty, spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavour to western palates!  

• For the midday service which was unbelievable in Cao Dai Temple - do not miss this!

Afternoon tour is Cu Chi Tunnel Tour.

• 13.00 pm, after you have a lunch, we will leave Tay Ninh and travel to Cu Chi Tunnel. Once in Vietnam, you must visit this spot. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking. There’re a lot more to enjoy, even a chance to fire real AK bullets…

Finish Cao Dai Temple - Cu Chi Tunnels 1 Day Tour. Arriving Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City at 06.00pm - 07.00pm.

DAY 6: ONE DAY MEKONG DELTA TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 7.45am - 8.00am we begin to visit Mekong Delta Day Tours Vietnam (My Tho - Ben Tre) - Island Tour.

• 9:30am - 10.00am, We will arrive in My Tho. Embark a made of timber motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through unpolished creeks, enchanting fisherman's port; stilt houses (half on land, half on water).

• From there, we’ll continue to take you to a bee farm where you have an opportunity to taste a charming cup of unsophisticated honey tea. After that we walk around peaceful villages and watch the life of rustic people in Mekong Delta.

• Moreover, you enjoy the fresh atmosphere and get things small and personal from this journey now. We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. With this 15 minutes trip, you’ll see all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and wonderful water coconut tree landscape. Get away from the city that is it all about!

• After you enjoy its serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll explore some orchards along 2 long sides of a canal. Then we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and hand-made items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta.  You might learn that those people can wonderfully make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is actually attached from the villagers' daily life.

• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to restaurant for that.

• One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable fruits garden where you can enjoy many different types of tasty tropical fruits while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.

• We end our sightseeing trip.  On the way back to Saigon by bus/car, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs (if time permits).

• As Mekong Delta Day Tours Vietnam (My Tho - Ben Tre) ends, you will return Saigon by tourist bus at 6.00pm - 6.30pm.

DAY 7: ONE DAY SAI GON CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 08.30am - 09.00am we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).

• Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important pagodas in the city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires).

• China town (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city's daily business).

• Then we have a lunch at restaurant.

• Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.

• This address today still holds many important functions in Ho Chi Minh City. We have guide who speaks your language (English speaking tour guide) to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).

• General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).

• City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture).

• Finish Ho Chi Minh City Tour 1 Day at 04.30 pm car transfer to airport.
