DAY 1: ARRIVE IN SAIGON CITY
Our driver will pick you up at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel for check in.

DAY 2: SAIGON CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
Breakfast at hotel. At 08.00am our guide will pick you up from hotel and depart for Cu Chi - Located 60km from Saigon, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti - American war in Vietnam. It is legendary for its tunnels system of over 220km and is a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.
The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was "A Free Target Zone". The remnants visitors will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there and visitors will see the remnants.
Have a lunch at the local restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
This address today still holds many important functions in HCMC. We have guide who speaks your language to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral(Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
General Post Office(Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).

DAY 3: SAIGON CITY - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Breakfast at hotel. At 08.00am, transport & guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port, stilt houses. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments.
Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho by private transport.

DAY 4: MEKONG DELTA: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - Son Islet Community-Based Tourism - HO CHI MINH CITY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
7:00 am, Have a breakfast at hotel and visit to Cai Rang Floating Market. While crossing the Mekong River, observe the daily activities of local people on the banks, see traditional - style houses in which the local people live as well as beautiful orchards, busy ships - building yards and bustling markets where they make their livelihood.
After that, our tour guide takes you to some traditional workshops. You have a great time learning how locals make “Hu Tieu” (rice vermicelli). They are soft, flat, slippery and slightly chewy. Then, the boat carries you to another place to enjoy pineapple (known as the queen of fruits) that is fresh and delicious. The seller will peel the pineapple on the spot for you to enjoy right on the boat.
10:00 am, after paying a visit to the colorful floating market check-out and disembark before exploring Son islet - an islet in the middle of Hau River which is separated not far away from the mainland with alluvial consolidating green orchids all year round and the honest, lovely and enthusiastic people.
The first experience in Son islet where you will visit a floating fish farm on the Hau River. The fisherman has a collection of fish. Especially, do not forget to check-in “Foot massage with Koi fish”.
Walking around Son islet among 80 households, you experience picking the fruit and enjoy it from the tree when you visit the garden with local people. Do not miss the monkey bridge.
You have the opportunity to make traditional cakes and pop rice by yourself or watch unique snakehead fish performances.
It’s a good idea and very meaningful with the flying menu. Flying menu” is a unique style of Son islet, each family will prepare one dish and serve it all to you, the benefits from community-based tourism will be shared and filled with inhabitants.
12:00 pm, having lunch with many specialties on this islet. After this insightful visit, return to the hotel.
We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by coach/private car, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs.
The stop will be brief, ensuring that we come back to SG before 7PM, finishing Mekong Delta Tour 2 Days.

Evening time at 06.30pm - 07.00pm our guide will take you to the BBQ Garden or the Vietnamese foods Restaurant.
