Detail Itinerary for Vietnam Classic Tour 16 Days 15 Nights
DAY 1: ARRIVE IN HANOI – FREE TIME (NO MEAL)
Arrival Ha Noi, welcome to our driver at airport. He will pick you up from there and transfer to hotel.
You are free time.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
Included: Pick up airport in Hanoi and accommodation in Ha Noi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
08.00am – 08.30am: Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarterand start Hanoi City Tour.
Then visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place.
Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Have a lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch proceeds to visit Bat Trang Pottery Village continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam's first university constructed in 1070 it's gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake see the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son temple. For the end of the tour journey visit by coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter. Free for shopping.
Hanoi City Tour One Day ends around at 15.30 you will enjoy Water Puppet Show from 15.30 to 16.15, then back your hotel around at 16.45.

DAY 3: HA NOI - BAI DINH TRANG AN GROTTOES – HA NOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
8:00 am: Pick you up at your hotel and drive to the site of Vietnam's first capital - Hoa Lu, to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda which will become the largest religious tourist center in Viet Nam upon completion in 2010 to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi.
You then have lunch at local restaurant.
After that, drive South West more 4 km to Trang An Eco tourism complex. The Trang An Grottoes has an area of 1,500 hectares, take a sampan to see limestone ranges, valleys, caves and rivers. All these factors make a fanciful and romantic atmosphere. There is a system of unique grottoes like Ba Giot, Dia Linh, Toi (Dark Cave), Sang (Bright Cave), Ao Trai Cave and Seo Cave.
There are many valleys like Tran Temple valley, May valley, Khong Valley, Nau Ruou Valley (Wine brewing valley). The Grottoes area is considered as a great rock - garden locating in a vast lake.
After visiting get on the car and road trip return to Ha Noi.

DAY 4: HANOI – HALONG BAY – GLORY CRUISE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
08.00am: Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi and start Halong Bay Vietnam Tours On Glory Cruise. Drive to Halong City through the paddy fields in the Red River Delta.
10.00am: Stopover on the way for a refreshment break.
12.00pm: Arrive at Tuan Chau wharf – Break and photography time.
12.30pm:Board Glory Cruises for departure. Welcome drink will be served.
13.00pm: Lunch is served while cruising through the bay.
15.30pm: Visit exciting Cua Van fishing village. The village is free of busy roads and streets, electric lights, houses and high rise buildings. Instead, there are only herds of little boats and rafts. You will have the chance to discover the traditional culture and customs of the fishermen.
16.30pm: Enjoy kayaking or swimming (if the weather permits).
17.00pm: Back on board and continue cruising to Drum Cave (Hang Trong) to dock.
19.00pm: Dinner is served.
21.00pm: Take some leisure time to enjoy chatting at the bar or enjoy some night fishing.
Relax and spend a romantic night on Glory Cruise.

08.15am: Visit splendid Sung Sot Cave.
09.00am: Check out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay, passing Dinh Huong Island, fishing villages, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island.
09.30am: Buffet brunch (breakfast/lunch) while cruising back through Halong Bay to the pier.
11.30am: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew.
12.00pm: Return from Halong to Hanoi.
14.00pm: Stop over in Dong Trieu town to visit a ceramics workshop.
16.00pm: Arrive in Hanoi.

DAY 6: HANOI – HUE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast. Transfer to airport for morning flight to Hue at 08h50am.
Arrival Hue, welcome to our driver at Domestic airport. He will pick you up from there and transfer to hotel.
Then, we will pick-up at hotel and have buffet lunch (50 traditional Hue foods, Asian and western dishes). Vegertarian food on request.
Afternoon: Continue at 1:30 pm. We will visit:
Hue Citadel.
Thien Mu Pagoda.
Then get on the boat for a sight -seeing along the Perfume River to see fishing village and sampan on the way back. Do no miss the Sunset on the Perfume River.
Back to town at 4.30pm.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 7: HUE – HOI AN (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
Depart at 08.30am (Pick up at your hotel 8.00 am by tourist bus or private transport). Start Hue City Tour.
Morning:
1. Minh Mang Tomb (60 minutes). 2. Khai Dinh Tomb (40 minutes). 3. Tu Duc Tomb (40 minutes). 4. Conical Hat Making Village and Incense Making Village (20minutes). 5. Kinh Van An Matial Art (30 minutes).
12.30pm: Back to Town for lunch.
13:30pm: Bus or private transport picks up from hotel and transfers to Hoi An. It takes 3-4 hours.
Arrive Hoi An, check-in hotel .
After booking into your hotel, you walk along the narrow streets and cross the 400 year old Japanese covered bridge and visit ancient houses, galleries and a silk tailor shop, Hoi An retains the feel of centuries past.
Mid-afternoon you can relax by the swimming pool or start you’re shopping for clothes, shoes, bags etc.
Stay overnight in Hoian.

DAY 8: HOI AN – MY SON – DA NANG (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
08.00am: Pick you up at your hotel.
Depart by bus for our one hour journey to My Son. Lots of good photo opportunities while on the bus.
09.00am: Arrive in My Son. Take a nice walk with your guide for around 1 hour to see the historic andcultural ruins of the 16th century. My son offers you many impressive sites. You will be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization.
Then you have free time to relax, discover, or have cup of coffee for around 1 more hour.
We then depart My Son and head back to Hoi An.
12.00pm: Have lunch at restaurant in Hoi An.
13.30pm: Transfer you to Da Nang and Visit to Marble Mountains: named as 5 elements of universe.
17.00: Finish tour, check-in hotel .
Overnight in Da Nang.

DAY 9: DA NANG – NHA TRANG (BREAKFAST)

DAY 10: NHA TRANG 4 ISLAND TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
At 8.30am – 08.40am Our guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel to Cau Da port.
Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit in this tour; several sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province make a small ocean world there.
Mun Island is the best island for snorkeling that you can see a lot of multi-colored corals and fish live. Besides, you will see caves where sea swallows make their nest.
Then relaxing, swimming & doing water sports or other activities at Mot Island, we will visit Tranh Beach Island or a small island calling “Mini beach”. After that, you take a rest at the island. On the way back you will visit a fishing village before going to the shore.
Bus transfers back hotel and stays overnight in Nha Trang.

This morning, we will visit Truc Lam Zen Meditation Center, Tuyen Lam Lake – so beautiful landscapes, Natural Datanla waterfalls and Dragon Pagoda – colorful decorated temple.
We have a lunch at the restaurant.
This afternoon, we will visit the old railway station, Valley of Love – Romantic view and cowboy, XQ Hand Embroidery Picture Gallery and Bao Dai’s summer Palace.
16.30pm our guide transfers you to hotel.
Then transfer to Da Lat airport come back Saigon at flight 21.05pm

DAY 13: SAIGON CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
08.30am - 09.00 am we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective in Ho Chi Minh City. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important pagodas in Saigon city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires).
China town (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city's daily business). Then we have a lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City until 1975(1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
This address today still holds many important functions in Ho Chi Minh City. We have guide who speaks your language to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station in Ho Chi Minh City).
City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture). Finish Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City Tour at 04.30 pm.
07.00pm: Dinner cruise.

DAY 14: SAIGON – MY THO – CAN THO (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
Breakfast at hotel. At 08.00am, transport & guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer toMy Tho. Board a wooden motor boat to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks and quiet villages and watch rural people going to work. You will see an interesting fishermen's port, stilt houses. One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a large orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments.
Another boat stop is for the Turtle Island 1 hr from the previous one. Here, on a small row boat, you’ll see interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around. From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
After that we’ll take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made many yards away. This is a great chance to witness how village people make candy and handcrafted items from coconuts. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho by private transport.

Breakfast at hotel. Take the morning boat trip to visit the the biggest Cai Rang floating market with the busy scene right at the time. Keep cruising through the small channels system; visit the rice noodles making village.
Experience the "Monkey Bridge" in the Delta. Break time for lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City via Trung Luong to visit the flower garden. Our guide will drop you off at hotel in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 16: CU CHI TUNNEL TOUR – DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST)
Breakfast at your hotel. At 8.30 am, transport and guide will pick you up at hotel travel to Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.
Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
