Detail Itinerary for Vietnam Discovery Tour 6 Days - 5 Nights (Saigon, Mui Ne, Cu Chi, Mekong Delta)

DAY 1: ARRIVAL ON HO CHI MINH CITY (DINNER)

• Our driver will pick you from International airport and transfer to hotel.
• 6.30pm: Watch water puppet show.
• 7.45pm: Dinner cruise on Saigon River.
• Stay overnight in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City.

Included: Airport transfer, water puppet ticket, dinner cruise and accommodation in SaiGon/Ho Chi Minh City.

Excluded: Breakfast, lunch, travel insurance, tips, drinks, personal expenses, transport transfers to water puppet theater & cruise (you can take taxi for cheaper than car).

DAY 2: SAIGON – MUI NE DISCOVERY (BREAKFAST)

• Morning: At 7.40am, our bus will pick up at Viet Fun travel (28/13 Bui Vien St) and transfer to Mui Ne. You will arrive to Mui Ne around 1.00pm.
• Afternoon: At 1.30pm – Transport and English tour guide pick you up from your resort/hotel to visit the Fairy Stream where you can not miss in Mui Ne because of the really amazing place.
• Then you will have a chance to visit Yellow sand dune. From the top of the Yellow one, you can see all of the scenery of Mui ne and discover the daily activities of the fishing farm.
• Not only visiting white sand dune, you will be fulfilled by the beautiful white sand dune. It is more romantic time for seeing the sunset, slip on the sand. Moreover, in the middle of the white sand dune there is Lotus Lake – lotus is one of the famous flowers in VietNam.
• After that, we will transfer you to resort/hotel around 06.00pm.

DAY 3: MUI NE BEACH - SAIGON DISCOVERY (BREAKFAST)

• At 1.15pm – 1.30pm, air con tourist bus will pick up at hotel/resort in Mui Ne and transfer to Saigon.

• Arrive in Saigon at 6.00pm – 6.30pm.

• Stay overnight in Saigon.

Included: Bus ticket Muine - Saigon, breakfast at hotel and accommodation in Saigon.

DAY 4: HALF DAY CU CHI TUNNELS TOUR (BREAKFAST)

• 08.30am - 09.00am our guide will pick you up from hotel. Excursion Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.
• Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City arriving at approximately 02.30pm - 03.00pm.

DAY 5: MEKONG DELTA DISCOVERY TOUR: MY THO – BEN TRE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• At 8.00am, Transport and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to Mekong Delta 1 day trip (My Tho Ben Tre).
• 9:30am - 10.00am, we arrive in My Tho. We take a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island pass through natural creeks, interest fisherman's port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water).
• Next, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. Now we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
• Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!
• When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards. After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to restaurant for that.
• One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
• We end our sightseeing trip. On the way back to Saigon by bus, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs (if time permits).
• The stop will be brief, ensuring that we come back to SG before 7 PM, finishing Mekong Delta Discovery Tour: My Tho Ben Tre.
