Detail Itinerary for Vietnam Tourist Itinerary 8 days ( Saigon Mekong Muine)

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SAIGON - Vietnam Tourist Itinerary (LUNCH)

• Our driver will pick you up from airport and transfer you to hotel.
• Afternoon at 12.30pm - We pick you up from hotel and take you to restaurant for lunch.
• 13.15pm - 13.30pm: Visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
• This address today still holds many important functions in Saigon. We have guide who speaks your language to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral (Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
• General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).
• City Hall (Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Saigon. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture). Finish Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City Tour at 04.30 pm.

DAY 2: SAI GON - MEKONG DELTA TOURIST (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

• 08.00am, Mekong Delta 2 Days Tour (My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho) - travel by bus to My Tho.
• 9:30am - 10.00am, arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman's port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water).
• From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.

• Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!

• When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards. After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta.  You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
• Have a lunch at the restaurant.
• One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
•  As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho.
• Stay at homestay with bungalow/hotel in Can Tho

DAY 3: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - SAI GON (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape ---- Cai Rang floating market...

• This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you'll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.
• After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and a rice paper factories.
• The next stop is a rice processing factory where you'll learn the many steps that transform "rice with a brown cover" to the delicious and beautiful rice grain that we consume daily.
• The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to Can Tho for that.
• We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho.  On the way back to Saigon by bus, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs.
• The stop will be brief, ensuring that we come back to SG before 7 PM, finishing Mekong Delta 2 Days Tour (My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho)

DAY 4: SAIGON – MUINE BEACH (BREAKFAST)

• 8.00am bus from Saigon to Muine. It takes 5 hours.
• When you get there, you are free time on the beach. Stay overnight in Muine.

Included: Open bus: Saigon - Muine, breakfast at hotel and accommodation in Muine.

Day 5: SUNSIRE MUI NE TOUR - SAI GON (BREAKFAST)

• 04.30am – Transport and English tour guide pick you up from your resort/hotel to visit Muine Beach. You will be fulfilled by the beautiful white sand dune. It is more romantic time for seeing the sunrise, slip on the sand.
• Moreover, in the middle of the white sand dune there is Lotus Lake – lotus is one of the most famous flowers in Viet Nam. Not only visiting white sand dune, customers will have a chance to visit Yellow sand dune. From the top of the Yellow one, you can see all of the scenery of Mui ne when you can discover the daily activities of the fishing farm. Then we will stop at the Fairy Stream where you can not miss in Mui Ne because of the really nice place.
• After that, we will transfer you to resort around 10.00am.
• 1.15pm - 1.30pm bus will pick you up from hotel/resort and transfer to Saigon City.

Day 6 : CAO DAI TEMPLE CU CHI TUNNEL (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)

• 8.45am - 09.00am our guide will pick you up from hotel. You then will start this trip to learn more about Cao Dai, take our tour to Tay Ninh - a province 95 kms South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border. The Cao Dai Temple is like a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.
• At about 13.00 pm, after lunch, will leave Tay Ninh and travel to Cu Chi. Once in Vietnam, you must visit this spot. This is where guerilla warfare optimized and exemplified. You’ll learn the clever design of the tunnels and the strategic use of trap doors. Even with B-52 bombers dropping 30-ton loads of explosive, turning the jungle into a pockmarked moonscape, 30 thousand American troops failed to conquered the area! You’ll have a chance to crawl around a portion of the 121 km long, multiple-layered tunnel. You’ll learn how thousands of guerillas managed to stay underground many days at a time, also their great technique to conceal smoke from their cooking. There’re a lot more to enjoy, even a chance to fire real AK bullets…
• Arriving Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City at 06.00pm - 07.00pm.

• 8.30am - 09.00am we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
   
• Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important pagodas in the city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires).
   
• China town (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city's daily business).
   
• Free time for shopping in the downtown.
   
•  6.30pm we will pick-up from hotel transfer you to the water puppet show.
   
• 7.30pm have a dinner cruise in Indochina cruise.
   
• Stay overnight in Saigon.
