Morning: Mekong Delta Adventure (05:00 AM Departure)
At 05:00 AM, we depart from Ho Chi Minh City for a scenic 3-hour drive to Can Tho City, the heart of the Mekong Delta. The scenery transforms from bustling city streets to peaceful rice paddies and orchards.
Upon arrival at Can Tho around 8:00 AM, we cruise to the famous **Cai Rang Floating Market**. You'll observe the vibrant daily life of locals and enjoy an authentic **breakfast on the boat**. We'll then visit a local workshop to learn the traditional process of making **rice vermicelli** ("Hủ Tiếu"). After, you'll enjoy fresh, delicious **pineapple** right from the boat.
Afternoon: A Journey into the Past (01:00 PM Onwards)
At 10:00 AM, we depart Can Tho for the Cu Chi Tunnels. We will arrive around 01:00 PM and have a satisfying **lunch at a local restaurant** with a special Vietnamese set menu.
At 02:00 PM, your tour guide will lead you through the rugged Cu Chi grounds. You'll learn about the intricate tunnel construction, see ingenious **traps**, **bomb craters**, and **tank remains**. You'll also have the option to **crawl through a safe section** of the tunnels and try **boiled tapioca**, a food staple during the war.
Conclusion (04:00 PM – 05:30 PM)
We'll board the van at 04:00 PM to return to Saigon, arriving back in the city around 05:30 PM, concluding your memorable combo tour.
