DAY 1: SAI GON - MY THO - BEN TRE – CHAU DOC

• 07:00 am, Mekong Delta Tour from SaiGon 4 Days (My Tho - Ben Tre - Chau Doc - Can Tho – Ca Mau – Bac Lieu – Soc Trang) - travel by toursit bus to My Tho.
• 9:30 am - 10:00 am, arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman's port; stilt houses (half on land, half on water).
• From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
• Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups (if you take a group tour) and get on small row boats. During this 15 minute trip, you’ll witness all kinds of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!
• When you feel it's enough for serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards (seasonable orchards). After that, we cruise to a village where the sweet smell of coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
• Now let's have lunch at the restaurant.
• One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyment. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
• After that, you visit Phoenix Island (Coconut Monk Temple, Crocodile farm, Ostrich…)
• As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho bymotorized boat and then travel to Chau Doc.

DAY 2: CHAU DOC - PAGODA - TRA SU FOREST - CAN THO

7:00 am - 7:30 am: Visiting the and after breakfast, our guide will take you to 3 places: Tay An Pagoda, Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, Ba Chua Xu Temple.

• Tay An Pagoda was constructed in 1847 at the base of Sam Mountain in An Giang. Then it was restored extensively in 1958. It is beautifully decorated with many elements from the Cham, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian cultures. The interior and main gate follows Vietnamese design, having figures of 2 dragons and lions fighting for chrysanthemums, pearls, lotus blossoms and apricot trees on the roofline romp.
• Ba Chua Xu Temple, also known as the Holy Mother of the Realm is a solemn and ancient architecture built in 1820. The layout of the temple looks like the writing of the Chinese characters with the shape of a blooming lotus and 4 blue tiles roofs. According to An Giang Records Book, in 2009, this temple was recognized as the oldest sandstone statue in Vietnam. Legend tells that the Holy Mother helped the villagers to fight back the Siam Army in the past while blessing good weather and rich harvesting seasons to them. Thus, worshippers often come here a lot to touch her statue and ask for her blessing and protection.
• Thoai Ngoc Hau (1761-1829), a mandarin serving the Nguyen Dynasty, was the pioneer to exploit Chau Doc’s virgin soil, establish living settlements as well as dig Thoai Ha and Vinh Te channels. After his death, local people built a tomb to commemorate his dedication to developing agriculture in the 1930s. He was buried with his 2 wives together with a temple in his honor. Thoai Ngoc Hau tomb was designed by a harmonious architecture. There are many thick stone walls around the tomb. In the middle of it, there are temples and tombs for worshiping. Besides, numerous tombs of officials who had supported Thoai Ngoc Hau in the past were also constructed.

And we will continue to Tra Su Forest. You sit on a long boat with a motor which allows you through water covered in green lilies. A bit surreal as it almost likes land, enjoy precious moments living in harmony with nature as well as the wholesome atmosphere. You will be flabbergasted by small houses on stilts with rudimentary bamboo ceilings that are firmly tightened to cajuput trees, making an unusual existence in the quiet ambience of the forest.
You stand on a 23.5m high watch tower in the midst of the forest; enjoy a panorama of the vast greenery spotted with the white of storks below and surrounding countryside.
After this, our coach takes you to Can Tho. On the way, we will stop at Long Xuyen to visit Crocodile farm (if time permits).
The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go to Can Tho. We stay overnight in Can Tho

DAY 3: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – CA MAU

• After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel toCai Rang floating market.
• This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you'll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.
• 11:45 am: Having lunch in Ca Mau.
• 12:45 pm: Departing for Nam Can.
• 14:00: Arriving at Nam Can.
• 15:15: Arrive at the southernmost place of Vietnam on land – Ca Mau Cape is known as the end of the country and is always a Western tourist destination that must come once in life. The last province of Vietnam with three main sides bordering the sea. Here visitors will visit national landmarks, watch the forest, the sea, and admire the afternoon in the vast sea. Ca Mau exudes a poetic and lyrical beauty, peaceful and rustic, captivating the hearts of visitors.
• Coming to Mui Cape. You will visit the National landmark, the iconic miniature of the boat full of wind, the ship of the country always facing the sea. Touch the landmark and take a picture next to the symbol of Ca Mau cape, you will be proud to stand on the last landmark of the country.
• Have dinner at Nam Can district and be back in Ca Mau for overnight.

• Breakfast at the hotel. Departing for Bac Lieu, on the way visiting Tac Say church where Father Truong Buu Diep rested.
• 09:30 am: Arriving in Bac Lieu, visitors visitBac Lieu’s house – its owner’s name is Tran Trinh Huy (1900 - 1974), one of the richest and most flamboyant man in Southern Vietnam at the time. Referring to Bac Lieu, people immediately think of the homeland of Prince Bac Lieu – a famous dude who plays for a while
• 10:15 am: We move to Soc Trang province, located just south of the Hau River. There is a cultural interference between the Chinese-Kinh-khmer peoples and the indigenous peoples. So Soc Trang has unique beliefs and customs.
• Coming to Soc Trang, we visit Mahatup Temple (Bat Pagoda), which was recognized as a national art relic in 1999.
• Have lunch in Soc Trang.
• Back to Saigon at around 07:00 pm, the tour ends at Viet Fun Travel office. See you again.
