Detail Itinerary for 2-Day 1 Night Mekong Delta Tour (Sa Dec - Can Tho - My Tho - Ben Tre) From Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY TO MEKONG DELTA: SADEC – CAN THO
7:30 am, Mekong Delta tour from Ho Chi Minh 2 days - travel by coach to Sadec.
Arrive in Sadec, we will visit:

• Sa Dec ornamental flower village is 03 km from the center of Sa Dec city, with an area of 313ha, with 1,968 households. The strength of the flower village is that it has two sides adjacent to the Tien and Sa Dec rivers, convenient for transportation by waterway and road.
• Happy land Hung Thy Sa Dec tourist area is a rustic tourist resort created in Sa Dec flower village, with the aim of developing Hung Thy into a tourist place associated with river nature. Many miniatures and games are built to serve the needs of people to visit and have fun.
• Have lunch at a restaurant.
• Kien An Cung Pagoda, also known as Ong Quach Pagoda, is located in Ward 2, Sa Dec, Dong Thap Province. Kien An Cung Pagoda was built in 1924 and completed in 1927. This pagoda was built by a group of Chinese in Fujian (China) to worship ancestors, unite the community, meetings, discuss trading and exchanging information, etc.
• Huynh Thuy Le Ancient House is located at 225A Nguyen Hue Street, Ward 2, Sa Dec city. The ancient house was built by Mr. Huynh Cam Thuan – Huynh Thuy Le’s father. Back then he was a famous merchant in Sa Dec port. At first, the house was made mostly of wood and in the shape of a traditional Southern house. In 1917, the owner reconstructed it by adding solid bricks in the gaps of wooden pieces inside. That is the reason why the house looks French outside but Chinese inside.
• Phuoc Kien Pagoda is not only known for the legend of a crane or a turtle, but also famous for its "giant lotus leaves". You will visit La Sen Pagoda to admire this unique ...
• As your journey ends, the next we travel to Can Tho.
• Check-in at the hotel and have dinner at a restaurant.
• Stay overnight in Can Tho.

• After breakfast, around 7:00 am, we board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape ---- Cai Rang floating market…
• This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you'll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.
• After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5 - 7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and a rice paper factory.
• We end our sightseeing trip downtown Can Tho. Then, we will visit My Tho.
• Arrive in My Tho. Starting the tour, you move to the boat to visit Phoenix Island (another name is Tan Vinh island). You have about 30 - 45 minutes here to visit and learn about the coconut religion, a special religion founded by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam. The scenery here is very beautiful so you can make a photo album as a souvenir.
• Have lunch at a restaurant.
• Board a wooden motor boat (15 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interesting fisherman's port; stilt houses (half on land, half on water).
• From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
• We are divided into many groups (if you take group tour) and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!
• When you feel it's enough for serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards (seasonable orchards). After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
• One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonal fruits garden where you can enjoy many different types of tasty tropical fruits while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
• As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho boat station by motorized boat and come back to Ho Chi Minh
• 18:00 - 19:00, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, finishing Mekong Delta Tour From Ho Chi Minh 2 Days 1 Night (Sadec – Can Tho - My Tho – Ben Tre).
