Detail Itinerary for The Best Of Vietnam Travel From Hanoi 12 Days 11 Nights
DAY 1: ARRIVE HANOI
Driver will pick you up from Ha Noi airport and transfer to hotel.
Check-in hotel and relax.
Overnight in Ha Noi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
08:15am - 08:30am: Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel and start Hanoi City Tour.
Then visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place.
Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.
Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple(Taoist dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam).
Have a lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch proceeds to visit Bat Trang Pottery Village continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam's first university constructed in 1070 it's gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake see the peaceful waters and visit Ngoc Son temple. For the end of the tour journey visit by coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter. Free for shopping.
Hanoi City Tour One Day ends around at 15.30.

08.15- 08.30: Pick up at your hotel and depart for Ha Long city.
11.45 – 12.00: At Halong city, you will board your Cruise, check into your cabin and enjoy first class lunch while you are cruising through thousand amazing islands and islet passing by Stone Dog Islet, Floating fishing Village, Incense Burner, Fighting Cocks, Duck and Finger Islets...
15.45: Visit Surprising Cave(the most beautiful one in Halong Bay).
16.45 – 18.00: Enjoy an hour or more kayaking through slide rock cliffs before swimming and joining some competitions for prize and fun, on white sandy beach (weather permitted).
18.00 – 18.45: Board back the Cruise, take shower and enjoy special cocktail party on the sundeck before dinner time.
19.00 – 20.30: Enjoy a specially prepared dinner in a romantic atmosphere.

07.45: Have breakfast.
08.30: Start cruising to visit Van Gia floating village and passing by Halong Pearl Farm.
09.30- 10.00: Keep cruising to visit Halong bay. Enjoy the cooking course after you pack your things and leave the cabin.
11.30 – 12.00: Sail back Ha Long pier, have a lunch and take a bus back to Hanoi.

Tu Duc Tomb (40 minutes).

Thien Mu Pagoda (30 minutes).
Then get on the boat for a sight -seeing along the Perfume River to see fishing village and sampan on the way back. Do no miss the Sunset on the Perfume River!
Back to town at 04.30pm.

DAY 7: HUE – HOIAN – CITY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
Morning, bus pick you up from hotel at 8.00 am - then transfer to Hoi An.
Arrive in Hoi An, your meet guide and he takes you to restaurant for have lunch.
Then walking to the old town, buy entrance tickets and begin the tour. Start visiting the Temple Kwan, Phuc Kien Temple, Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung house, Japanese Bridge and cultural show rooms in Hoi An.

DAY 8: MY SON – DA NANG – SAIGON (BREAKFAST)
8.00am: Pick you up at hotel. Depart by bus for our one hour journey to My Son. Lots of good photo opportunities while on the bus.
Arrive in My Son. Take a nice walk with your guide for around 1 hour to see the historic and cultural ruins of the 16th century. My Son offers you many impressive sites. You will be brought back to the glorious time of the Champa civilization.
Then you have free time to relax, discover, or have cup of coffee for around 1 more hour.
We then depart My Son and head back to Hoi an arriving around 12.30pm.
And then transfer to airport for afternoon flight to Sai Gon at16:00pm.
17.15 pm arrival Sai Gon, welcome to our driver at domestic airport. He will pick you up from there and transfer to hotel.
Check-in hotel and free.

DAY 9: SAIGON - MY THO - BEN TRE - CAN THO (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)
08.00amMekong Delta Tour from Ho Chi Minh 2 Days - travel by bus to My Tho.
9:30am - 10.00am, arrive in My Tho. Board a wooden motor boat (20 minutes) to Unicorn Island. On this boat along the river’s bank, you’ll be passing through natural creeks, interestingfisherman's port, stilt houses (half on land, half on water)
From there, we’ll take you to a bee farm where you have a chance to taste a tasteful cup of authentic honey tea. After that we walk around quiet villages and watch the life of rural people in Mekong Delta.
Things get small and personal now. We are divided into many groups and get on small row boats. During this 15 minutes trip, you’ll witness all kind of interesting transportation modes that local people use to move around, while enjoying the fresh air along the canal and beautiful water coconut tree scenery. Away from the city, that is it all about!
When you feel it's enough for the serenity, let's get back to the large motor boat for something different. You'll cruise a canal whose 2 long sides are orchards. After that, we cruise to a village where the sweat smell coconut candies are in the air. To satisfy your curiosity, we'll get to a village that has many small shops that make coconut candy and handcrafted items from coconut trees of Mekong Delta. You might learn that those people can amazingly make dozens of useful products out of coconut trees. It is indeed inseparable from the villagers' life.
Have a lunch at the restaurant.
One of the boat’s stops during this trip is at a seasonable orchard that has many different types of tasty tropical fruits for your enjoyments. You can enjoy the fruits for free while checking out the folk music that is typical to only the people in Southern Vietnam.
As your journey ends, you will return to My Tho by motorized boat and then travel to Can Tho.

DAY 10: CAN THO - SAIGON (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
After breakfast, around 7:15 am, we board a boat and travel for about 40 minutes to get to our first spectacular landscape ---- Cai Rang floating market...
This is the largest of its type in the whole Mekong delta. During this visit, you'll have a chance to board a merchant boat that sells pineapples which come from Can Tho City.
After that, we continue on our riverine route for 5-7 minutes and then on foot for about 5 minutes to reach a noodle and a rice paper factories.
The next stop is a rice processing factory where you'll learn the many steps that transform "rice with a brown cover" to the delicious and beautiful rice grain that we consume daily.
The time now should be around 12 noon. Time for lunch! Let's go back to Can Tho for that.
We end our sightseeing trip at downtown Can Tho. On the way back to Ho Chi Minh by bus, we'll have a stop at an interesting point to rest and also have photographs.
The stop will be brief, ensuring that we come back to Sai Gon before 19.00 PM.

DAY 11: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI - HO CHI MINH CITY (BREAKFAST/-/DINNER)
08.30am - 09.00am we start to Cu Chi Tunnels by air con tourist bus (one and half hour driving) where 08.30am - 09.00am: We depart from Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon to Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour.We stop at a lacquer art factory for the disabled on the way.
We arrive in Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh). Then we will watch a propaganda film a wartime propaganda film showing how local guerilla fighters were "American Killing Heroes"(a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed).
We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels in Cu Chi. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.
Also, you can try to real gun shooting for extra.
At 02.30pm - 03.00pm, we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.
Check-in hotel and free.
06.00pm: Driver pick-up at hotel and transfer to water puppet show.
07.45pm: Dinner cruise.
Overnight in Sai Gon.

DAY 12: SAIGON CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
08.30am - 09.00am we will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war).
Thien Hau Temple (One of the most important pagodas in the city, this richly decorated temple is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Goddess of the Sea and patron of sailors. She is said to travel over the oceans on a mat and ride the clouds to wherever she desires).
China town (Settled in the late 18th century, this labyrinthine section of Ho Chi Minh City bustles with restaurants, temples, exotic stores, and markets) and Binh Tay market (This is the main marketplace in China Town, where a great deal of wholesale trading occurs. Experience the commotion of this integral part of the city's daily business). Then we have a lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall which was the residence of the President Ngo Dinh Diem of the former South Vietnam until 1975 (1960s - Apr 1975s). You will see many interesting things: formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level.
This address today still holds many important functions in Ho Chi Minh City. We have guide who speaks your language to tell you important historical facts about this building and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral(Located in the heart of the city, this cathedral was built by the French in the late 1877s. A large statue of the Virgin Mary greets you as you walk into this neo-Romanesque cathedral, adorned by two tall spires flanking either side).
General Post Office(Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station).
City Hall(Find out why this is one of the most photographed buildings in Ho Chi Minh City. Constructed in the early 1900s, City Hall is a beautiful example of French colonial architecture).
